Free Summer Meals Available at South Texas ISD Campuses June 1-30
STISD will offer free summer breakfast and lunch meals from June 1-30 for children 18 and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.
Meals will be served dine-in only Monday through Thursday at the cafeterias of four STISD campuses. Breakfast will be available from 7:30-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Honoring a Legacy of Leadership: STISD Superintendent Dr. Marco Antonio Lara, Jr. to retire at end of the month
After eight years leading South Texas Independent School District (STISD) and a career spanning over 30 years in education, Superintendent Dr. Marco Antonio Lara, Jr. has announced his retirement, effective May 31.
